Launching of the seventh session of the Sudanese-Russian Inter-Ministerial Committee

The seventh session of the Sudanese-Russian Joint Ministerial Committee for Trade, Economic, Cultural and Technical Cooperation was launched in the Russian capital Moscow.

Chaired by Dr. Mohammed Said Zayn Al Abidin, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Minerals, and Mr. Alexander Kozlov, Chairman of the Russian side of the Committee.

The chairpersons of the Committee expressed the importance of the meetings and the two countries’ great hope in their outputs.

The Committee has established several specialized committees to deliberate on various areas of cooperation, including the legal framework and cooperation in industry, finance, banks, geology, mining, environment, energy, higher education, scientific research, agriculture, health, communications, culture, media, tourism and space research.

The meetings will last for three days and conclude with a closing session chaired by the Minister of the Ministry of Minerals of the Sudan and the Minister of the Ministry of Natural Resources and the Environment of Russia.
