Opening of the first Sudanese-Egyptian Youth Entrepreneurship Forum
Yesterday, the first Sudanese-Egyptian Youth Forum, under the slogan “Youth and entrepreneurship”, opened at the Dar el-Pedestrian Hotel in the Egyptian capital, Cairo.
The opening ceremony took place in the midst of an enormous presence headed by the Egyptian Minister of Youth and Sports, Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, Mr. Sadiq Omar, Deputy Ambassador of the Sudan to Egypt, Ms. Manal Jamal, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the State of Egypt, and Mr. and Ms. Nadia Araq, head of the Sudanese delegation, as well as Mr. Syed Al-Hadi, director of the Department of Youth, Professor Sharif Al-Kharabi, economist, member of the Egyptian Council for Foreign Affairs, and sports expert, Mr. Quran Shata.
In addition to an appreciated presence of young Sudanese community who formed a bright painting that emphasized the depth of the ephemeral relationship and the emotional interdependence between the two peoples of the Nile Valley.
The opening words were a real extension of the depth of fraternal and intimate relations between the two countries and speakers elaborated on the bonds of good historical relations between the Sudan and Egypt. Youth Forum “, said that the Youth Forum was of high importance to the youth of the two countries as it opened up new horizons and encouraging pathways to develop young people’s capacities in entrepreneurial and productive enterprises that contributed to the economy and development.
Ashraf Sobhy reviewed the distinguished relations of the two fraternal peoples and ways to develop them to fulfil the wishes of both sides in various aspects of life.
Cooperation should proceed to the fullest degree of understanding in order to achieve complementarity of roles in the health, agricultural and cultural aspects.
Ms. Nadia Aaraq, head of the Sudanese delegation, described the Ministry’s efforts towards young people, particularly in the areas of entrepreneurship, because they were in line with the aspirations of young people, who looked forward to adopting innovation and designing productive projects that met their desires and satisfied their aspirations.
Mr. Sayed Al-Hadi, Director of the Sudan Department of Youth and Sports, stressed that the Forum is a good opportunity to acquire knowledge, experiences and experiences that enable young people to deal optimally in the field of entrepreneurship.
He explained that the Sudan is participating in a talented and distinguished youth delegation in the field of entrepreneurship with special successful experiences in projects with a material return, reviewing the Ministry’s experiences and its openness towards the states.
Citing the training project for the 5 million young people and the production, productivity and other projects launched by the Ministry at the state level.
Mr. Al-Sadiq Omar, Deputy Ambassador of the Sudan to Egypt, addressed a number of testimonies that reinforce the strong relationship between the Sudanese and Egyptian sides and confirmed their serious endeavours to create twinning in all areas between the two States.
The Minister of Youth and Sports, Ms. Hazar Abdul Rasul, was keen to attend the forum. However, special circumstances prevented her from attending and addressing young people and called on young people to take advantage of the forum and translate it into action in the form of various productive projects.
