The governor of Darfur region meets the delegation of Saudi investors

During his meeting in Khartoum today, the Governor of Darfur, Minni Arko Minawi, praised the delegation of Saudi investors and businessmen headed by Mas’ ad bin Samar, who is currently visiting the country at the invitation of the territorial Government.

Minawi praised Saudi Arabia’s contributions to Darfur, particularly in the areas of humanitarian action. He welcomed the delegation’s visit and stressed that the delegation would contribute to strengthening the historical bridges between the two countries.

The Governor of the Darfur region explained that the visit of the Saudi delegation will open the door for the two countries to take advantage of the common possibilities for the benefit of the two sisterly peoples, stressing the areas of cooperation available in Darfur, especially in the areas of development and investment, and building partnerships with the heads of national funds in the vital fields such as agriculture, livestock and minerals, and stressing the willingness of the Darfur regional government to provide the necessary facilities to Saudi Ardu investors.

The territorial Government would submit to the delegation plans, programmes and projects that had been prepared.
