The Minister of Finance authorized the Sudanese Arab Food Security initiative

Minister of Finance and Economic Planning Dr. Gabril Ibrahim confirmed the Sudanese Initiative for Arab Food Security.

The Sudanese initiative should be reaffirmed through the Arab Summit through its implementation on the ground and the establishment of appropriate mechanisms for that initiative.

In a press statement, Ibrahim explained that the Sudanese initiative has been cleared since 2013 at the Arab summit hosted by Doha.

Called for the strengthening of efforts during Algeria’s summit to advance and implement the initiative on the ground.

It is worth mentioning that the Sudan participates in the work of the 31st Arab Summit held in Algeria these days, which coincides with the 68th anniversary of the outbreak of the Algerian liberation revolution.

The Arab Summit is the first all-Arab digital summit where paper will be completely dispensed during all sessions with high-speed Internet.
