With local and international participation, the fourth International Sudanese Dates Festival was launched
The fourth International Festival of Sudanese Dates, which lasts for 3 days in the Friendship Hall in Khartoum, will be launched on November 30, with the participation of farmers, producers, researchers and those interested in the sector.
In addition to international participation from Egypt, Morocco, Jordan, Mauritania, Saudi Arabia, Libya, Mexico and UAE.
Dr. Badraldin Sheikh, Secretary General of the Sudanese Palm Society, announced that the festival was sponsored by the Khalifa International Prize for Date Palms and Agricultural Innovation and nine awards will be distributed, including the best farms, categories, packaging and farms.
He appealed to farmers to expedite the mobilization of the form to confirm participation in the Assembly’s office in Khartoum this week and in the states to delegates of the Assembly in order to limit opportunities by allocating 80 pavilions. The last day to request participation will be 15 November and the competition manual will be attached to the form for the participation of the states.
The second day of the festival is a scientific symposium discussing the strategy for the development of palms and dates in the Sudan, presented by the United Nations expert Professor Hassan Mazmel Ali Dinar.
The festival included activities accompanying the exhibition with the evening, including artistic and cultural nights.
