Coffee every day is more useful than you think
A scientific review article, published by the journal Trends in Cardiovascular Medicine, summarizes evidence showing that having two to three cups of coffee a day leads to beneficial effects on metabolic syndrome, which helps reduce high blood sugar, high cholesterol levels, and excess weight around the waist.
So having at least two cups of coffee, reduces the chances of coronary heart disease, irregular heartbeat, heart failure and stroke, reducing the risk of death from cardiovascular disease.
It also reduces the body’s sensitivity to insulin which reduces the risk of diabetes.
Researchers believe that flavonoids in coffee, a group of natural substances found in fruits, vegetables, grains, bark, roots, stems and flowers, reduce infections and cellular mutations and modify important enzyme functions.
