The Secretary General of the National Council of Medicines and Toxins meets the Indian Ambassador
Met with the Secretary-General of the National Council for Medicines and Toxins. Ali Babiker, Ambassador of the State of India in Khartoum at the Council’s headquarters, discussed opportunities between the Sudan and India in the field of health, especially medicines.
The Secretary-General of the Council welcomed the Ambassador and the delegation accompanying him and expressed his gratitude for the initiative to visit, commending the two countries’ deep relations and good cooperation.
He stressed the importance of India’s role in the manufacture of medicines and raw materials for the production of medicines, supplements and blood products.
For his part, Ambassador B of India of Khartoum said. SS. Mubarak is one of the leading countries in the field of pharmaceutical manufacturing, vaccines and herbal medicines, pointing to their role in providing therapeutic services to Sudanese in India.
He stressed the importance of joint cooperation in the field of training, transfer of expertise and exchange of information in the field of smuggled and fraudulent medicines.
The parties agreed that the first meeting would be the opening of extended relations, especially in the field of training, transfer of expertise and coordination in the field of medicines and medical supplies.
