Al Mazrouei reviews the Arab Authority for Agricultural Investment and Development’s plan for food security

Mr. Mohamed Obaid Al-Mazroui, President of the Arab Authority for Agricultural Investment and Development, Dr. Hala Al-Saeed, Minister of Planning and Economic Development, met with her office in the administrative capital.

The President of the Authority expressed his appreciation and admiration for the great achievements made by the Arab Republic of Egypt in all areas, especially in the field of infrastructure under the leadership of President Abdelfattah Al-Sisi of the Republic. The Chairman of the Authority provided an introduction about the Arab Authority and its activity in the Arab Republic of Egypt.

The head of the Authority also explained that the investment cost of future projects of the Authority in the Republic of Egypt is estimated to be about $650 million as a first phase for the production of wheat, maize and other strategic crops through the establishment of large projects in partnership with public and private sector partners from inside and outside the Arab Republic of Egypt.

The Chairman of the Commission reviewed the obstacles and challenges facing the Arab Commission and its investments in the Arab Republic of Egypt.

It is worth mentioning that this meeting came on the sidelines of the first investment forum to promote investment opportunities between the public and private sector organized by Al-Madani Consulting, BTP Capital and Truss Egypt.

The President of the Authority thanked the Minister for her support and Dr. Zahra Al-Madani for her efforts in arranging the fruitful meeting with the Minister of Planning and its positive outcomes, which would then have the effect of boosting the Authority’s investments in the Arab Republic of Egypt, as well as its efforts to attract many investment entities to Egypt.

He commended the idea of the first forum for the recreation of investment opportunities and expressed his pride in joining the technical office of the forum on attracting investments to the Arab Republic of Egypt.
