Appointment of an adviser to the Ministry of Justice as Commissioner of the Arab Investment Court

Dr. Maaouya Osman al-Haddad, General Counsel of the Ministry of Justice, took the oath before the Secretary General of the League of Arab States, Commissioner of the Arab Investment Court in Cairo, and participated in the court hearings.

It is worth mentioning that the Investment Court established the Arab Capital Investment Unit under the Agreement, which entered into force in 2016. The Court plays an important role in resolving disputes between Arab investors and Arab countries hosting investment. In accordance with the Statute of the Court, the Court is composed of a number of judges and commissioners representing Member States.
