Meeting of the Council of the Commission for the Control of Desert Locusts
The Arab Organization for Agricultural Development (AOAD) participates in the work of the twelfth session of the Commission for Combating Desert Locusts in the Western Region and the meeting of the Commission’s fifteenth Executive Committee, convened by the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization during the period from 27
The five-day meeting aims to discuss a number of technical and financial issues for coordinating the efforts of 10 Arab States and Africa to combat the desert locusts in order to avoid the effects of these events.
The Organization’s attendance at this meeting comes within the framework of its constant keenness to participate in the activities of its development partners, which serves to strengthen cooperation with them and opens up space for further joint development work.
