Saudi Arabia hosts the second meeting of the Assembly of Arab General Representatives

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by the Public Prosecutor’s Office, will host the second annual meeting of the Assembly of Arab General Deputies, which will take place from November 16-17, 2022 in Jeddah, with the presence of a number of public deputies from sister Arab countries and with the international participation of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, the International Organization for Migration, the European Union Agency “Eu” and the International.

The second annual meeting of the Assembly of Arab Commons Deputies is entitled “Issues of financial fraud and cybersecurity related to transnational organized crime”. The Kingdom hosts the meeting within the framework of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and the Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to strengthen and develop relations with Arab brothers. To combat the dangers and dangers of transnational organized crime to the economies of individuals and society and to emphasize the need for judicial integration in order to achieve effective criminal justice and the best practices monitored to address their evolution and methods of commission and how to overcome the difficulties that may be encountered in strengthening international judicial cooperation.

The workshop sessions are scheduled to discuss the following main topics: (International legal framework against transnational financial fraud and best practices monitored to counter its evolution and methods of commission) (modern methods used to commit transnational organized crime and the role of international organizations in combating it) (Role of investigations in the fight against transnational organized crime, in particular financial fraud) (the role of cybersecurity in reducing financial fraud and modern investigative mechanisms for such crimes) and (the experiences of participating States in combating financial fraud and the role of cybersecurity in reducing it).

Saudi Arabia is represented in the “Public Prosecutor’s Office”, which is one of the founding states of the Assembly of Arab Public Representatives, held on July 3, 2019, in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, during the meeting on the signing of the governing principles of the Assembly for the “Constituent Order” under the title “Together to Fight Crime.”
