The Arab Organization participates in the periodic meeting of the International Council for Dates

The Arab Organization for Agricultural Development (AOAD) participated in the third session of the International Council for Dates, with 13 Arab countries participating as members of the International Council for Dates, a number of delegations from various countries of the world, international, regional and local organizations, including the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), the Arab Center for Drand AriLand Research.

His Excellency Minister Abdulrahman Al-Fadli addressed at the beginning of the work of the Council, welcoming the participating States, organizations and delegates. The agenda and achievements of the Council were reviewed during its previous session and the Council’s plan and budget for the forthcoming period 2024-2026.

The Council also addressed the Ministers of Tunisia, Egypt, the Kingdom of Jordan, the Sudan, Palestine and Mauritania, appreciating the efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the chapters of the International Council for Dates and appreciative support for the Council’s work.

Addressing the Director General of the Organization, he thanked the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and His Excellency the Minister of Agriculture for the warm reception and hospitality and for the generous and continuous support of the Council’s work. He affirmed that the Organization will remain supportive of the Council’s work and wishes it success and repayment.
