A delegation from the European Parliament visits the Sudan

A delegation from the European Parliament’s Foreign Relations Committee will begin a two-day official visit to the country on Thursday.

During the visit, the delegation will meet with members of the Sovereign Council and representatives of the Civil Political Force as part of the European efforts to support the national consensus process and the transitional path, as well as to discuss Sudan’s European relations.

The delegation’s visit was part of a regional tour involving the Sudan and Ethiopia to identify the situation in the region.
