Foreign Minister receives new European Union Ambassador to Sudan

Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs Ambassador Ali Al-Sadiq Ali received at his office the new European Union Ambassador to Sudan, Aidan O’Hara, who presented to him a copy of his credential papers.

The minister discussed with the ambassador the challenges that the democratic transition in the country is going through and the expected role of the European Union in achieving national consensus and pushing for formation of a civilian government to complete the transitional period and lead the country to general elections.
