Sheikh Al-Jid: We Invited all the Sudanese People
The head of the call of the Sudanese people for national consensus, Sheikh Al-Tayeb Al-Jid, stressed that invitation was extended to all the components of the Sudanese people, including the Baath, Nasserite and Communist parties, and the movements of Abdul-Wahid Mohamed Nour and Al-Hillu for the sake of the unity of rank and to achieve security and stability in the country.
Addressing the Forum of the Health Sector, organized by the initiative of the Sudanese people for national consensus on Saturday, Sheikh Al-Jid pointed out that the call aims for the establishment of an 18-month transitional government with a mission to enhance the people’s livelihood, achieve security and hold free and fair elections.
He affirmed the call’s keenness to unite the rank and to bring Sudan to safety, away from personal and partisan interests.
He called on philanthropists, businessmen and organizations to provide humanitarian aid to the vulnerable categories who live in difficult conditions, especially that the country is facing a humanitarian crisis as a result of heavy rains and floods.
