The President of the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR), Dr. Rafat Merghani Abbas Al-Amin, met with the delegation of the Darf

The meeting addressed the human rights situation in the Darfur region and the role of OHCHR and civil society in improving the human rights situation.

The meeting also addressed prospects for joint cooperation between UNHCR and the Platform, and it was agreed to draft a memorandum of understanding between the parties.
