The Minister for Foreign Affairs in charge receives the Turkish Ambassador

Ambassador Ali al-Sadik Ali was received by the Minister for Foreign Affairs in his office by Ambassador Irfan Naziroglu, Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Khartoum, on the occasion of the end of his tenure in the Sudan.

The Turkish Ambassador expressed his appreciation to the Government and people of the Sudan, explaining that Turkey looked forward to closer political and economic relations with the Sudan and expressed confidence in the Sudanese ‘ability to move beyond the current stage and reach a national consensus leading to the formation of a new government leading the country through the transition period to the election phase and the selection of an elected parliament.

For his part, the Minister thanked the Ambassador of Turkey for his good feelings towards the Sudan and the Sudanese, stressing the depth of relations between the two countries and the need for concerted efforts to improve them in order to achieve the common interests.
