The vision of freedom and change presented the national consensus of the European Union’s envoy for the Horn of Africa
The envoy of the European Union for the Horn of Africa and the ambassador of the new European Union in the Friendship Hall of Khartoum met with the leaders of freedom and change of the national consensus group.
Commander Minni Arko Minawi, a member of the National Consensus Group and governor of the Darfur region, said in press statements following the meeting that the meeting addressed the country’s current political situation as well as how to reach a civilian government agreed upon by all Sudanese parties.
Minawi pointed out that the vision of national consensus of the European Union and its envoy, which had not changed since the establishment of the national consensus group of the Sudanese people, called for the unification of all initiatives in the political arena and the achievement of a political charter, a document of the constitutional declaration and a government agreed upon by all the Sudanese people.
Manawi pointed out that the initiatives put forward by the people of the Sudan made great efforts must not be neglected and must not be taken into account as the vision of the majority of the people of the Sudan other than freedom and change of the Central Council.
He noted that a call for freedom and change was made by the Central Council to join the initiatives and put forward its initiative for the Sudan and return to the right.
