U.S. Assistant Secretary of State phones Dagalo

The Vice President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, General Mohammed Hamdan Dagalo, revealed that he had received a phone call from Molly Phee, U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for African Affairs.

Dagalo published on his Facebook page: “I received a phone call today from the US Assistant Secretary of State, Molly Phee, where I assured her that the political process we are now working on represents a rare opportunity to restore the course of the revolution, but rather it is a necessary step to move forward towards a true democratic transition. We are committed to the promise we made to our people, that we will proceed with the political agreement to its end, in order to achieve the aspirations of the young men and women of the revolution, in a stable, secure, advanced and prosperous homeland. ”
