What happened at Hamdok’s meeting with the President of Kenya?
Former Sudanese Prime Minister Abdullah Hamdok announced that he was honored on Thursday to meet President William Ruto of the Republic of Kenya and President of the IGAD on the Sudanese crisis.
The meeting dealt with the conditions resulting from the war in the Sudan from the loss of thousands of lives, destruction, displacement, asylum and the unprecedented humanitarian disaster.
“I appreciate President Ruto’s efforts and regional and international efforts aimed at stopping the war and restoring stability.
I have also briefed His Excellency on the efforts of the Sudanese civilian forces to stop the war, achieve peace and return the country to the democratic civilian path.”
