Salva kiir Meets Al-Hadi Idris

The President of the Republic of South Sudan, Salva Kiir Mayardit, renewed his country’s keenness to support the peace process and the political framework agreement in Sudan.

This came during his meeting with the Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), chairman of the Sudan Revolutionary Front(SRF), Dr. Al-Hadi Idris Yahya, in the presence of Security Affairs Advisor to the President of the Republic of South Sudan, Tut Qalwak, South Sudan’s Minister of Investment Dr Dhieu Mathok , South Sudan’s Minister of Presidential Affairs Benjamin Barnaba and the spokesman for the Sudanese Revolutionary Front ( SRF), Osama Saeed.

President Salva Kiir Mayardit, reaffirmed his country’s support for Sudan to achieve comprehensive peace and realize stability and development.

In a press statement, Osama Saeed explained that the meeting discussed the progress of bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries, issues related to the peace agreement and the political framework agreement, indicating that the issues of assessing the peace agreement will be done through the mechanisms stipulated in the agreement.

The TSC Member expressed his thanks and appreciation for the efforts being exerted by the President of the Republic of South Sudan, Salva Kiir Mayardit, in communicating with the peace parties, sponsoring and following-up the framework agreement, Osama Saeed said.

Dr. Al-Hadi Idris Yahya pointed to the keenness of the president Salva Kiir Mayardit to continue efforts to make Sudan enjoys stability, Osama Saeed added.
