Mohamed Salah wins English League top scorer
In a historic new achievement, Egyptian ball star and Liverpool player Mohamed Salah was awarded the Golden Boot Award after finishing the season at the top of the Premier League scorers with 23 goals.
Despite Liverpool’s loss of the Premier League title to Manchester City, the Egyptian Pharaoh made their goalscoring mark in the last league game, after scoring his side’s second goal against Wolves with minutes left.
Salah is at the top of the “Premiership” scorer list, with 23 goals, in partnership with Tottenham’s Heung Son-min, while Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo is third with 18, and Harry Kane with 17.
The Egyptian star also won the award for best goal-maker in the league.
