Reports of the killing of the leader of the Chadian Liberation Movement in Khartoum

Reports of the death of a Chadian opposition fighter in Khartoum during clashes between the Sudanese Armed Forces and the Rapid Support Forces have been circulating on social media.

Activists shared pictures showing the leader of the Chadian opposition forces being killed in the fighting. Shushu had appeared in a video days earlier, fighting alongside the Rapid Support Forces, which sparked criticism from Sudanese citizens and the regional community.

This became a clear indication of the participation of foreign mercenaries alongside the Rapid Support Forces. There are also videos circulating on social media showing foreign mercenaries from countries such as Mali, Niger, and Chad admitting their affiliations.
