Pope Francis: “I invite everyone to pray for our Sudanese brothers and sisters”

Today, Sunday, Pope Francis called for “dialogue” in the face of the “dangerous” situation in Sudan, at a time when battles continue between the Sudanese army and the Rapid Support Forces.
“Unfortunately, the situation in Sudan is still dangerous and for this reason I renew my call to stop the violence as soon as possible and to resume dialogue,” the Pope said during Sunday Mass in St. Peter’s Square. “I invite everyone to pray for our Sudanese brothers and sisters,” he added.
