President of Chambers of Commerce meets India’s Ambassador to Sudan
Mr. Nader Al-Hilali, President of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce, met with Ambassador BS Mubarak of India and Trade Attaché of the Embassy of India, Mr. Mina, to discuss various areas and opportunities for joint cooperation and ways to strengthen economic relations and raise them to advanced levels.
The parties discussed how to cooperate to increase the volume of trade between the two countries and how to open new markets for Sudanese products in the Indian market to support Sudanese exports and how to attract investments in the Sudanese market.
During the meeting, the parties confirmed that the Union of Chambers and Embassy would serve as a link between the two countries by studying the establishment of joint chambers of businessmen on both sides.
The President of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce commended the Ambassador’s visit to the Federation in order to ensure cooperation and identify some points through which the Embassy would work and coordinate with the Federation of Chambers of Commerce to facilitate bilateral partnerships benefiting the economy of the two countries.
This meeting reflects the common desire to develop and develop Sudanese-Indian economic relations and to link businessmen and companies in the two countries and develop a mechanism to study any obstacles and proposals to resolve them and determine the requirements of the two markets, which will be worked through in the coming period.
Ambassador Mubarak stressed that his visit to the President of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce would confirm that there would be considerable coordination between the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and the Embassy to support economic relations and seek to overcome any obstacles facing companies in the two countries to facilitate partnerships in various activities through the Federation of Chambers of Commerce, benefiting from the recent development of economic relations between the two countries.
The meeting discussed the arrangement of the visit of a delegation from the Indian Export Federation, which includes a large number of Indian companies in various fields in coordination with the National Chamber of Importers to search for partners and importers from the Sudanese side, at the headquarters of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce in the middle of next month.
As well as increasing cooperation between Sudanese and Indian companies, as well as intensifying meetings between the business sectors to take advantage of available investment opportunities and build strategic partnerships in different business areas.
