Sudan’s annual inflation fell to 107% in September
Sudan’s Central Bureau of Statistics said annual inflation fell to 107% in September from 117.42% in August.

Sudan’s economy deteriorated following the events of October 2021, which caused the suspension of international finance, and the value of its currency fell to more than a quarter.
The Sudan experienced successive increases in fuel prices last year under a phased cancellation of fuel subsidies aimed at following global prices.
The Sudanese Ministry of Energy has reduced gasoline prices since the beginning of the current month from 700 Sudanese pounds to 522 pounds ($0.9235) per litre.
Diesel prices also fell slightly from 687 Sudanese pounds to 672 pounds per litre.
