Exploring Sudan’s opportunities to benefit from my fascicle 2 programme and bridge the African Arab trade

Professor Ibrahim Adam Ahmed Al-Dakhiri, Director General of the Arab Organization for Agricultural Development, held a meeting today with Dr. Djibril Ibrahim, Minister of Finance and Economic Planning, and Engineer Hani Salem Sanbel, Chief Executive of the International Islamic Trade Finance Corporation.

The meeting, held at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States, examined the opportunities for the Sudan to benefit from the Al-Ifayas 2 programme and the Foundation’s Arab-African trade bridging programme aimed at increasing trade opportunities among Arab States, providing jobs for poor groups and supporting women and youth.

During the first phase of the programme (2013 – 2018) and with the support of donor countries and international organizations, 28 projects have been approved for 19 Arab countries, in various areas related to the foreign trade sector.
