Minister of International Cooperation affirms strength of Sudanese-Somali relations

Minister of Investment and International Cooperation, Ahlam Mahdi Medani underscored firmness and depth of relations between Sudan and Somalia.

Addressing the Sudanese-Somali Investment and Trade Forum in Mogadishu, the Minister called the Sudanese investors to invest and transfer their experiences in all fields to assist in reconstruction of Somalia, particularly in fields of infrastructure and industry.

The Minister underlined Sudan’s commitment to continue in giving opportunities for Somali students to study in Sudan, referring to importance of exchange of visits and benefiting from the Sudanese experience in field of training.

For his part, the Somali Minister of Planning, Investment and Economic Development, Mahmoud Abdel-Rahman Sheikh Fareh affirmed eternal relations between Sudan and Somalia, calling the investors to contribute to reconstruction of Somalia.

He pointed to readiness of his Ministry to provide support and remove all obstacles obstructing the investors’ work.
