Minister of Investment discusses ways to strengthen Sudan’s Indonesian relations

The Minister of Investment and International Cooperation Ms. Ahlam Madani Mahdi discussed with Indonesia’s Ambassador to Khartoum Mr. SUNARKO ways to strengthen and develop relations between the two countries.

The meeting addressed memorandums of understanding, the Convention on the Protection and Promotion of Investment between the two countries and the establishment of joint business councils between the two countries.

The Minister provided an explanation on the laws governing investment and promising sectors in food production and food security.

For his part, the Ambassador noted his country’s desire to invest in agriculture and livestock, its desire to develop economic relations between the two countries and the relevance of his predecessor’s efforts in developing distinct relations between the two peoples.

It was also agreed to renew the agreements between the two countries in order to achieve fruitful economic cooperation between the two peoples.
