The Minister for Foreign Affairs meets with the FAO Resident Representative at the United Nations

Mr. Baba Ghana Ahmadou, Resident Representative of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) in the Sudan, was received by the Minister for Foreign Affairs in charge of his office by Ambassador Ali Sadik.

Baba expressed appreciation for the cooperation he found from officials of the Government of the Sudan to perform his duties during his tenure, noting the promising possibilities and opportunities in the Sudan to achieve local and regional food security.

For his part, the Minister for Foreign Affairs commended Baba’s efforts to support the Sudan in the agricultural field during his tenure at the head of FAO, wishing him success and payment in his new location.
